Elaine Montegriffo, Interim CEO
A systems thinker, Elaine is passionate about collaborating to achieve positive social change. Elaine brings deep and diverse leadership experience to LV. She has 20 years’ senior leadership experience with global top tier consulting firms in the UK and Australia, where she delivered complex projects to achieve business outcomes. As Partner in global consulting firms Andersen and Ernst & Young, Elaine led innovative Human Capital consulting practices working with global organisations to strengthen leadership capability and performance.
This is combined with 15 years’ experience leading teams and mobilising stakeholders to deliver social impact in the for purpose sector in Asia and Australia with INGO’s, complex community service organisations and social enterprises. Elaine’s leadership experience includes as CEO of food rescue social enterprise SecondBite, Director of People & Organisational Effectiveness with Australian Red Cross, and Country Director Laos with Oxfam. In 2015 Elaine was awarded Global Social Entrepreneur of the year by the prestigious Schwab Foundation, the sister organisation of the World Economic Forum. Elaine is Deputy Chair of Women’s Health West and a Board member of Environment Victoria. Elaine has a BA Honours in Philosophy and a Masters of Social Science (International Development).
Chris Kotur (WCLP'94), LV's Leader in Residence
Chris (WCLP’94), is our honorary Leader In Residence. Chris is a well known, highly regarded designer of and contributor to leadership programs around Australia and is particularly well known for her successful work as a strategist and adviser to leaders and communities as they take on the work required to adapt to complex changes. Chris is a trusted adviser to chief executives, directors, board members and senior leaders. She is a specialist facilitator for board induction and strategic planning and has many years experience in strengthening community leadership. Read more about Chris here.

Amanda Brook (Chair)
Amanda is an experienced Business Leader and Marketer with a customer driven approach to strategy and business management, gained through a career in organisations whose brands are icons in the retail, wholesale, manufacturing and digital media publishing and education sectors. Amanda is a Graduate Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and a Fellow of the Australian Marketing Institute. Amanda is a director of the Victorian TAFE Association and Box Hill TAFE, and was CEO of Bendigo Kangan Institute.

Shaun Hughes (Deputy Chair; Chair Finance Committee) (WCLP’05)
Shaun is a senior executive specialising in financial services management, solutions sales, business process simplification, acquisitions and divestment. Shaun’s experience includes Chief Financial Officer at EBOS Group, Chief Procurement Officer and Executive Director Finance at Telstra, and Group General Manager at Elders.

Clare Amies (WCLP’11)
Clare is CEO of Worksafe Victoria. Previously, she was Executive Director of Insurance at WorkSafe and held a joint executive position with the Transport Accident Commission and WorkSafe in Health Strategy, before which she was the CEO of Western Region Health Centre. Clare is a Harvard graduate, holds a Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Social Work, Master of Social Work and Graduate Certificate in Public Policy and Management. She is a Graduate Member of the Australia Institute of Company Directors

Jed Macartney OAM (WCLP’05)
Jed is CEO of Independent Disability Services. He has been General Manager Corporate Services at Able Australia, managing HR, IT, finance, fundraising and marketing areas to provide services to people with multiple disabilities. He has been an executive in multiple transport, freight and engineering companies. Jed commenced his within the RAAF, becoming Squadron Leader and being awarded an Order of Australia Medal. He is Past Chair and current member of the YMCA Bridge Project Community Council, President of the Essendon Canoe Club and a volunteer at community radio station 3RRR.

Dr Judith Slocombe AM
Dr Judith Slocombe is a professional board director and business consultant with extensive experience across corporate, Government and non-profit organisations. In 2001 Judith was awarded Australia’s most prestigious award for women in business, the Telstra Australian Business Woman of the Year. Judith is an entrepreneur, having built and sold her own business, followed by many years’ experience as a CEO and in other senior executive roles in both the corporate and non-profit sectors, operating across Australia, New Zealand and South East Asia. Judith has held a portfolio of non-executive directorships in various business sectors for over 15 years and is a consultant in business growth, digital transformation, innovation and organisational culture. Judith has an MBA from the Melbourne Business School, is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Management and has studied Senior Executive Management at Harvard.
