Leadership Workshops Melbourne

Our leadership workshops help support you to lead with clarity and confidence, so that you can mobilise others and make progress on the things that are important to you. We believe that leadership is an activity, not a formal authority role, meaning that anyone can exercise leadership anywhere, anytime.

We focus our leadership workshops on being highly experiential, meaning there is no formal assessment. You’ll learn from facilitators, guest speakers and join break out room discussions with other participants to experiment with different leadership concepts.

By joining one of our leadership workshops, you’ll start to create a network of people to help support your leadership journey. A network that is diverse and relevant, as we tend to attract people from a range of different experiences and industries in Melbourne.

Joan Kirner Emerging Leaders Program

The Joan Kirner Emerging Leaders Program honours the legacy of the late Joan Kirner AC. As Victoria’s first woman premier, she blazed a trail for women in public life and public office. It honours this legacy and supports future generations of young Victorian women to follow in her footsteps.

The aim is to empower and support women to identify the leadership challenges they face and develop practical skills and strategies to advance their leadership careers.

Participants will take part in interactive learning development workshops, collaborative group work, structured networking, and mentoring activities, and hear from guest speakers that are shifting the perceptions of young women in leadership.

Active Citizenship Leadership Program

The Active Citizenship Leadership program is delivered in partnership with the Victorian Electoral Commission. The program provides an opportunity for up to 25 leaders (18 years +) from Victoria’s Culturally and Linguistically Diverse communities to develop their leadership skills, capabilities, and confidence to champion active participation in the democratic process within their communities.

This highly interactive learning opportunity will include working on collaborative community projects, listening to guest speakers sharing their active citizenship experiences, and access to an extensive network of peers and supporters. The course content is a mix of leadership-related learning, hands-on skills for community engagement, and active citizenship course content.
