Community Leader Scholarships

Leadership Victoria has a commitment to supporting leaders who work in small community organisations to access high quality leadership development and build connections beyond their usual networks. We understand that this benefits far more than the individual, as leaders take what they learn and who they know back into their organisations and communities, strengthening the impact of their leadership well beyond the program.  Their unique insights and perspectives also add significant value to leaders from business and government who participate in the programs.

To support this, we offer a limited number of Community Leader Scholarship places across our 3-day and 5-day short course programs.

These places are available to people working in charities with annual revenue under $3 million and registered with the ACNC. Organisations do not need to have DGR status to be eligible.

We offer at least two Community Leader Scholarship places in each program series. Successful applicants (or their organisations) contribute a reduced fee to cover basic costs:

  • 5-day Igniting Leadership Program (emerging leaders): $750 + GST (usual cost $3,985 + GST)
  • 3-day Leader Evolution Program (mid–senior leaders): $500 + GST (usual cost $3,155 + GST)
  • 3-day Women’s Leadership Program (mid–senior women and non-binary leaders):
    • Residential: $1,200 + GST (usual cost $5,150 + GST)
    • Non-residential: $650 + GST (usual cost $4,600 + GST)
