New Chair: Geoff Cosgriff

We are pleased to advise that Mr Geoff Cosgriff (WCLP'90) has been elected as Chair of the Leadership Victoria Council.  Geoff has demonstrated leadership as an LV Council member since 2001.

Geoff is also a Director of the RACV, Chairman of UXC Ltd and Director of Infocos P/L  and has held directorships in multiple listed and unlisted entities.  He is actively engaged as an Executive Coach, Mentor and Business Strategy advisor for a wide range of individuals in a diverse range of business sectors.

Geoff's personal perspective is that good leadership comprises "integrity, strategic vision and the ability to listen and empower a team". Geoff sees the enormous potential for Leadership Victoria to foster a bright future, and is looking forward to leading LV through an exciting 2013 and beyond.

Thank you to Garry Ringwood
Garry Ringwood retired as LV Chair on December 19th, after nine years on the Council, mostly as Chair.  Under Garry's leadership, LV grew and developed as an organisation, commencing ExperienceBank, Igniting Leadership, and maintaining LV's pre-eminence as a community leadership organisation.   Garry has made a lifetime of community contribution, including through his time as Director of RMIT and of Trinity Grammar.  Garry will continue to contribute to leadership in Victoria both by maintaining an ongoing relationship with LV, and through his new role as Chair of Trinity Grammar.  Many thanks are due to Garry  for his contribution.

Thank you to John Allen
John Allen also retired as an LV Council Member this week. John has been the longest-serving Council member in LV's 23 year history, having commenced in 1997.   John has been extraordinarily supportive of the LV mission over those years, contributing strategic advice and ensuring LV is well-placed and well-connected within the Victorian community. Many thanks are due to John for his contribution.
