The ANZ Connected Leadership Series comprises a series of three half day interactive and engaging workshops designed exclusively for small businesses.

The series seeks to explore the essentials of leadership and what it means to be an effective small business leader. Through this interactive series, participants will learn new concepts and be equipped with the skills and tools to apply them in their business. They will:

  • Consider the environmental challenges facing their businesses
  • Explore ways to strategically plan for the future
  • Build new networks with the potential for mutually beneficial outcomes
  • Examine the essentials of adaptive leadership through the lens of small business and with a specific focus on collaboration and innovation
  • Work with issues that are relevant to their situation and consider outcomes to address specific leadership challenges

The workshops are provided to complement and extend the tools and resources provided through the ANZ Small Business Hub with a view to enhancing the leadership capability and networking opportunities for small business owners and staff in the local area

ANZ is working with Leadership Victoria to deliver this engaging and interactive series which will provide an impactful experience with immediate application.

This program is available to business owners, operators and managers (both ANZ Small Business Customers and non-customers) in the outer eastern suburbs of Melbourne, including the Eastern Ranges.

Participant Profile and Criteria

The ANZ Connected Leadership Series is open to both ANZ Small Business Customers and non-customers targeting CEO’s and business owners.

As a series, participants would ideally be able to attend all three workshops. There is no cost for participation.


The three x half day workshops (3.5 hour followed by networking lunch) form a comprehensive and connected program with a focus as follows:

Workshop 1: Working Together - Wednesday 13 April 9.00am to 12.30pm (followed by networking lunch)

Workshop 2: Strategic Foresight for Small Business   - Thursday 12 May 9.00am to 12.30pm (followed by lunch)

Workshop 3: Building Your Networks  - Wednesday 8 June 9.00am to 12.30pm (followed by lunch)
