Doutta Galla Community Health (DGCH) provides a range of primary health and community services to the Cities of Melbourne and Moonee Valley. Services include allied health, health promotion, medical, dental and mental health (psychiatric disability rehabilitation and support) including residential and complex needs programs.

DGCH is a company limited by guarantee managed by a Board of Directors who include representatives with law, finance, health, fundraising and governance experience. DGCH is committed to improving the health and wellbeing of its community by providing culturally appropriate and accessible health and community services in partnership with its community.
All DGCH employees take an active role in service planning and development, quality improvement and health promotion. It is a responsibility of all staff to work within the DGCH Code of Conduct and represent DGCH as a caring, professional and client-focused organisation and promote its range of primary health and community support services.
DGCHS provides a range of primary and community health services to people living, working and studying in the Cities of Melbourne and Moonee Valley.
DGCHS was established in 1993 following the amalgamation of the Kensington, Flemington and North Melbourne community health services. This newly formed service retained the Kensington site and opened new sites in Moonee Ponds and Niddrie. A further amalgamation with Macaulay Community Support (Psychiatric Disability Support Service) in 2000 saw the organisation expand to include a service site in North Melbourne specialising in the delivery of mental health and complex needs services. Over the past 16 years DGCHS has served a broad community of people from many cultures and backgrounds.
DGCHS has a total of twelve service locations. These include four main service sites (North Melbourne, Kensington, Niddrie and Moonee Ponds), five psychiatric residential support sites, two offices operating from public housing estates and Boomerang (Psychiatric Disability Support Service) based in Moonee Ponds. The operating budget is $195 million. DGCHS employees more than 2720 people (1870 EFT). The current range of services includes:
