Alola Australia - Board member sought

Alola Australia works in partnership with Fundasaun Alola in Timor-Leste to empower women and children to buyild a strong future. 

We share a common vision:  Feto Forte - Nasaun Forte  . . . Strong Women - Strong Nation.

Together we deliver programs that aim to:
-  Improve health and well-being
-  Improve education opportunities
-  Create employment
-  Promote human rights and the status of women
-  Encourage and strengthen community development capacity and initiatives
-  Preserve culture

The Chair of Fundasaun Alola is Kirsty Sword Gusamo and the CEO is Alita Verdail.

Board Directors are active in contributing to the work of Alola Australia:  events, campagins, awareness-rasing, recruiting supproters, fundraising, etc.

Board meetings are held bi-monthly in the middle of the day at a city location.
