Director Dynamics Masterclass Series

High performing boards lead to stronger community organisations and better outcomes for the community they serve.

This topical two-and-a-half hour event series is designed for NFP chairpersons, CEOs and board members, and addresses current issues and challenges faced by NFP organisations.

In each Director Dynamics series, a panel of three guest speakers will share insights from their own board experiences.

There will also be an opportunity for participants to hear from each other and share some of the good practices of their respective NFP boards across a range of sectors.

All while enjoying breakfast with like-minded peers.

 

Breakfast Series 1: Board Recruitment, Succession and Performance Management.

With guest speakers Barbara McLure (Director, The Board Advisory Grou), Nick Green OAM (CEO, Cycling Australia) and Susan Barton AM (Founder and Director, Lighthouse Foundation).

It is the role of the board to successfully manage its own succession risk and that of the CEO. This masterclass focusses attention on what effective, competency based succession planning looks like and how the Board can maintain a sense of urgency around planning for changes in composition and leadership.
