Board Orientation Series
Become an Effective Member of Not-For-Profit Boards.
Take an orientation trip through one of the most critical areas of leadership in the not-for-profit sector: being a member of a board. The Board Orientation Series provides:
- an outstanding range of insights from speakers with in-depth experience in not-for-profit governance
- a resource folder of invaluable information and reference material for each participant
- the opportunity to network with others who are interested in this vital area, including Leadership Victoria Alumni.
This series covers key topics such as the changing world of not-for-profit organisations, legal and non-legal responsibilities of not-for-profit board members, appraising your board, and much more.
“I have a far greater understanding and appreciation for all aspects of serving on a not-for-profit board… I feel well equipped and empowered to ask questions as well as add more value compared to when I started the series.”
Jacqueline Phillips, National Marketing Manager, ANZ Financial Planning
